Helen Newlove, Baroness Newlove

Helen Margaret Newlove, Baroness Newlove, of Warrington in the County of Cheshire ( born December 28, 1961) is since 2010 for the Conservative Party Member of the House of Lords.

Life

Helen Newlove, a housewife and mother of three daughters, was known to the British public after her husband Garry Newlove was beaten in 2007 by a group of drunken young people after the destruction of their car to death. Then they organized nationwide campaigns such as Community Alcohol Partnerships ( CAP) and Newlove Warrington Campaign to control the sale of alcohol to young people in restaurants and supermarkets. Through the campaigns they want to increase the security and coexistence in the residential areas.

She was raised after the dissolution of the House of Commons on the so-called Dissolution List as Life Peeress with the title Baroness Newlove, of Warrington in the County of Cheshire to the peerage on 14 July 2010.
