Helen Shapiro
Helen Shapiro ( born September 28, 1946 in London) is a British singer and actress.
Life
Recording artist in the UK
Shapiro was born in London's Bethnal Green and grew up in London's East End. During her school years she performed with a school band and later sang with her brother in jazz clubs. After the end of general school education, she attended a London music school. There, she fell on her distinctive voice, and her headmaster made the producer Bruce Welch, who also worked with Cliff Richard, the young singer attention.
