Helena Takalo

Anni Helena Takalo ( born October 28, 1947 in Nivala ) is a former Finnish cross-country skier.

She participated in the 1968 Olympic Winter Games (still under her birth name Kivioja ), 1972, 1976 and 1980, in part, for which she won one gold, three silver and one bronze medal. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1970, 1974 and 1978, she won another five medals ( gold 2x, 3x bronze). In 1977 she was awarded the Holmenkollen medal.
