Helga and the Northern Lights is a German television series directed by and starring Helga Feddersen with thirteen episodes that aired from 14 April 1984 the first time on ZDF. The series was shot mostly in 1983 in Husum.

Helga Boysen (played by Helga Feddersen ) is the daughter of a bookseller mental dumping ground for all, but also inexhaustible source of nutty ideas. The series takes place in and around Husum.
