Heli Koivula Kruger

At the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and at the World Athletics Championships 1997 in Athens, she was eliminated in the qualifying in the long and triple jump. A further Off in the triple jump at the World Championships in 1999 in Seville followed in the same discipline at the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton a fifth place.

She celebrated her biggest success in the following year at the European Athletics Championships in Munich by winning the silver medal.

In the triple jump at the World Championships 2003 in Paris / Saint- Denis they do not make it past the first round, as well as the wide- and triple jump at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.

Five times she was Finnish champion in the long jump (1995, 1996, 1998, 2002, 2004 ) and seven in the triple jump ( 1996, 1998, 2000-2004). In the hall, she won four times the national title in the long jump (1994-1996, 2004) and triple jump (1996-1998, 2004).

Heli Koivula Kruger is married to a native of South Africa Frantz Kruger Discus Thrower since 2003. In 2002 she was elected to the Finnish Sportswoman of the Year.
