Heliades

The Heliopolites ( ancient Greek Ἡλιάδες [ Heliades ], " sun daughters " ) in Greek mythology, the daughters of Helios: Phaetusa, Lampetia, Aigle, sisters of Phaeton, which they hooked the chariot of the sun without the permission of Helios, with whom he crashed then, were from punishment or out of pity, as they mourned the death of his brother heartbroken, in poplars (or alder or Sweetgum ) transforms. Their tears of amber was because even as they sweated trees still golden tears.

The seven wise sons of Helios and Rhode are called Heliadai.
