Hellas Jet was a Greek charter airline based in Athens and based on the Airport Athens Eleftherios Venizelos.

History

Hellas Jet was founded in 2002 as a subsidiary of Cyprus Airways as a public company. Your first flight took off in Athens on 24 June 2003. In the first year they transported about 250,000 passengers on 3855 flights ( ø 64.85 passengers per flight ).

After heavy losses Hellas Jet set for May 10, 2005 in the short term all flights and announced in January 2006, to re- focus on the charter business. In August 2006, Cyprus Airways sold its shares in Air Miles with the aim of a resumption of flight operations with Airbus A320 -200 on wet lease.

The company introduced between 2009 and 2010, flight operations according to several sources, a final, the aircraft should have been scrapped after a few sources in the United States.

Objectives

Hellas Jet flew last of Heraklion and Rhodes from several European cities.

Fleet

As of September 2011, no more aircraft are registered on Hellas Jet. Last two Airbus A320-200s were operated.
