Hellerup IK

HIP PRO Fodbold is the football department of the Danish sports club Hellerup IK ( HIK ) from the north of the state capital Copenhagen.

History

HIK is currently playing in the third highest Danish league, the 2nd Division East, after the club was relegated from the first division in 2009. 2011/12 they won, although the championship, but lost the ascent Playoffs against the winner of the West Season, FC Fyn. There was only one climber, as the first division for the 2012/13 season was reduced from 14 to 12 teams.

Between 1936 and 1940 HIK belonged to the top division. The best finish was an eighth place ( 1939).
