Hello Brother ( Hindi, translated: Hello brother ) is a Bollywood comedy that was released in India in 1999.

Action

Hero ( Salman Khan) is an ambitious and fun loving guy, full of life despite that he grew up poor. He works for a courier company, whose owner Khanna ( Shakti Kapoor ) is. Hero has his eye on Rani ( Rani Mukherji ). They grew up together and live in the same neighborhood. Rani works as a kindergarten teacher and sees Hero as nothing more than a dear friend and confidant. Rani's dream man is Vishal Singh ( Arbaaz Khan). Vishal is a police officer from Delhi, who has been transferred to Mumbai to fight the drug problem in the city. Vishal's investigations lead him to Khanna's courier. Hero is unaware that he is exploited for the drug business of his boss and takes him into custody when Vishal confronts him with the truth. Vishal begins to suspect also Hero. Then Khanna shows his true face and shoots at Hero and Vishal. Vishal survived a heart transplant. It is the heart of Hero, but lives on as a ghost and wants to help Vishal to convict Khanna. In addition to hunting to learn Vishal Khanna Rani and falls into it.
