Hellphone - A devilish mobile phone with the original title Hellphone is a French film from 2007, directed by James Huth, the screenplay was written by Jean -Baptiste Andrea. Jean -Baptiste Maunier, known from The Les Choristes is to see in the lead role as Sid.

Action

The in school rather unpopular teenager Sid wants to buy a new phone. In a small shop, he finds a cell phone which he deems appropriate. Sid has no idea that this mobile phone that Hellphone, leads an independent life and partly has human characteristics. Thus the mobile phone is vying for the love of Sid, which in turn is in love with the beautiful and popular Angie. This is, however, with Virgile, the school - Macho, dating and ignores him. Virgile is making a joke of it, to annoy and humiliate, so the phone begins to love Sid to bring Virgile and other classmate of Sid by calls to kill himself, or other classmates, or injure Sid. As Sid realizes this, he tries to get rid of the phone, but unrequited love awakens in the mobile deeper anger, so that Sid needs the help of his classmates in order to destroy the dangerous cell phone finally can.
