Helmut Bradl

Helmut Bradl ( born November 17, 1961) is a former German motorcycle racer.

Together with Reinhold Roth, Toni Mang and Martin Wimmer, he was one of Germany's best motorcycle racers in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Bradl started from 1986 to 1993 on Honda in the 250 cc class of the Motorcycle World Championship. His biggest success has been the World Championship in 1991 in HB racing team of Dieter Stappert. He was defeated in this year despite five Grand Prix wins the Italian Luca Cadalora.

Today he runs together with his brother Max, who had then looked after him at the races, a motorcycle shop in Zahling.

His son Stefan Bradl is also motorcycle racer and 2011 was world champion in the Moto2 class.
