Helmut Roleder

Helmut Roleder ( born October 9, 1953 in Freital ) is a former German football goalkeeper. He played for 18 years for VfB Stuttgart and has been with this club in 1984 German Masters.

Playing career

Helmut Roleder began at SV Ebersbach with football and played for the club on 29 April 1969, a student international match. After his move to VfB Stuttgart, he came on 27 September 1970 a further application in the national team. At just 17, he made ​​his debut on 29 November 1970 in the A- youth national team. The following year he moved with Harald Schumacher in goal for the A- Junior National from, but it was the UEFA youth tournament in 1972, the No. 1 goal.

After his footballing career Helmut Roleder worked as a sports journalist and has worked in the management of a publishing house. Today he advises companies and is communication and business coach and speaker for motivational lectures.

Candidacy as club president

22 May 2011 Helmut Roleder announced to want to run for the office of President of VfB Stuttgart. As the Supervisory Board of VfB had proposed to its chairman Dieter Hundt Gerd E.
