Henderson County (Tennessee)

The Henderson County is a county located in the U.S. state of Tennessee. In 2010, the County had 27 769 inhabitants and a population density of 20.6 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Lexington.

History

The Henderson County was formed on November 7, 1821 from Chickasaw country. It was named after James Henderson, an officer in the British -American War.
