Henderson State University
The Henderson State University is a state university in Arkadelphia in the southwest of the U.S. state of Arkansas. At the University of 3513 students are enrolled. It is a so-called Liberal Arts University. To the university is one of the radio stations KSWH - FM.
History
The university was founded in 1890 as Arkadelphia Methodist College. Later it was named after Charles Christopher Henderson. In 1929 she was converted into a state university.
Sports
The sports teams of the Henderson State Reddies are. The University is a member of the Gulf South Conference.
