Hendrik Herzog

Hendrik Herzog ( born April 2, 1969 in Halle ( Saale) ) is a former German football player.

Stations as a player

Hendrik Herzog played in youth for the SG Dynamo Halle- Neustadt and the SG Dynamo Eisleben, before 1981, he was delegated to the youth program of the BFC Dynamo. There, he advanced to the 1986/87 season ( seven inserts, no goals ) in the first team, and played until 1991 63 games ( five goals ) in the DDR Oberliga for Wine Red. Duke played seven games without a goal in the national football team of the GDR. In 1991 he moved to the Bundesliga for FC Schalke 04, where he played for four years. After that he went to VfB Stuttgart and after two years at that newly promoted Hertha BSC. In 2001 he moved to SpVgg Unterhaching, where he ended his career after various injuries in 2002.

Hendrik Herzog graduated after his career at Hertha training as a sports and fitness merchant. Since the 2007/ 08 season he is equipment manager at the Berlin Bundesliga. From the season 2010/11 he will be in charge as assistant coach Hertha U19.
