History

The law firm of Hans Hengeler (1902-1982), founded in Dusseldorf in 1947 teamed up with Henry Wirtz and Heinz -Bernd Kurth. In Frankfurt, Rudolf Mueller opened in March 1947 his law firm, which in the same year, Heinz Weitzel joined as a partner. 1945/46, Dr. Mueller was the first Economic and traffic minister of the state of Hesse. Since the mid- 1970s, the firm was named Mueller Weitzel Weisner, with whom she went to the merger. Today's law firm " Hengeler Mueller " was formed in 1990 from the merger of the Düsseldorf office ( Hengeler Kurth Wirtz ) with the Frankfurt office branch ( Mueller Weitzel Weisner ).
