Henk Krol
Cornelis Henricus Maria ( Henk ) Krol ( born April 1, 1950 in Tilburg ) is a Dutch politician, journalist and LGBT activist.
Life
Krol studied Psychology in Amsterdam. Since his studies he worked as a journalist for the public radio station VPRO, later for the public broadcaster TROS. He also published articles in newspapers. Krol was 1978-1985 Spokesman of the Group of right-wing liberal Volkspartij voor de Vrijheid Democracy (VVD ) in the Second Chamber of the States General. In 1980 he founded the magazine Gay Krant LGBT, for which he served as editor in chief until 2012. From 2011-2012 Krol was for the party 50PLUS Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Group in the province of North Brabant Parliament. In 2012 he was elected a deputy of the Second Chamber and the group leaders of that party.
Krol is married.
