Henk Schouten

Henk Schouten ( born April 16, 1932 in Rotterdam ) is a former Dutch football player. He played in 1955 and 1961 depending on caps for the Dutch national football team.

Henk Schouten was a youth player from Excelsior Rotterdam, for which he also played until 1954 in the first team. In 1954/55 he played one year for Holland Sport before he went to the big club from Rotterdam, Feyenoord. From 1955 to 1963 he succeeded in 94 goals in 190 Eredivisie missions and was twice - in 1960/ 61 and 1961/62 - national champion. In 1963 he went back to Excelsior, where in 1967 he also finished his career.

The offensive player holds with nine goals against Feyenoord De Volewijckers for the record for the most goals in a single game of the Dutch Eredivisie.
