Hennadiy Lytovchenko

Hennadij Lytowtschenko (Ukrainian Геннадій Володимирович Литовченко; born September 11, 1963 in Dniprodserschynsk ) is a former Soviet and Ukrainian football player and current football coach.

Lytowtschenko began his career in 1975 in the youth team of Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. Since 1981 he was a regular first-team and won in 1983 with the team surprisingly the Soviet Championship. In 1984 he was elected to the Soviet Footballer of the Year. Together with Oleh Protasov was the attacking midfielder Lytowtschenko one of the leading players of the then very successful team of " Dnipro ", and reached in 1987 with the team the Soviet runner.

In 1988 Lytowtschenko to Dynamo Kiev, with this team, he was in 1990 again Soviet champion and cup winner in the same year. In 1990 he moved to Greece Olympiakos Piraeus and Olympiakos won the 1992 Greek Cup. In 1993 he played in Austria for FC Admira Wacker and in the 1995/96 season he came for Chernomorets Odessa to a total of 10 missions in the Ukrainian Wyschtscha Liha.

In the Soviet national Lytowtschenko came to a total of 57 missions in which he scored 14 goals. He participated in the World Championships in 1986 and 1990 and reached at the European Championship in 1988 with the Soviet team the final against the Netherlands. Between 1993 and 1994 he played 4 times for the Ukrainian national football team.

Since 1996 Lytowtschenko has worked as a trainer. From 2002 to 2004 he was responsible for the Ukrainian U -21 national team. In the 2003 / 04 season, Metalist Kharkiv Lytowtschenko trained. From 2006 to 2010 he was the coach of the second team of Dynamo Kiev.
