Henri Cassini

Alexandre Henri Gabriel de Cassini ( born May 9, 1781 Paris, † April 16, 1832 ) was a French botanist and lawyer. Its official botanical author abbreviation is " Cass. ".

Cassini was mainly specializes in plant sunflower family ( Asteraceae, formerly Compositae).

The plant genus Cassinia R.Br. from the sunflower family ( Asteraceae) has been named after him.
