Henri de Gondi (cardinal)

Henri de Gondi (* 1572 in Paris, † August 14 1622 in Béziers ) was a French bishop and cardinal.

Son of Albert de Gondi, Duc de Retz, who was raised in 1573 to the Marshal of France, and nephew of the Bishop of Paris Pierre de Gondi, he became coadjutor of his uncle before he succeeded him in 1598 as a bishop.
