Henri Fuchs

Henri Fuchs ( born June 23, 1970 in Greifswald ) is a former German football player. He played both in the communications field as in the DFB - game league football operation. With the FC Hansa Rostock he won the 1991 championship and the cup. When DFV as the DFB he was junior national team.

Career as a football player

DDR - Oberliga

With seven years Fox began his career as a football player at the Sports Association (SPA ) of the nuclear power plant in North Lubmin who has been resident in Greifswald and called BSG Greifswald nuclear power plant. In 1982, he was delegated to the northern center of the GDR football, FC Hansa Rostock. In the season 1987/88 he played as a striker for FC Hansa in the junior league. 1988/89 he was part of the 2 teams in the Hanseatic League, who played in the third-class district league Rostock. At the same time he was also already used in ten DDR - Oberliga games in which he has already hinted his striker qualities with three goals. His start in the league he gave on 19 November 1988, when he in the meeting of the 12th game day Sachsenring Zwickau - came on FC Hansa (3-0) in the final quarter of an hour. For the 1989/90 season he was officially added to the league team, played usually as a left striker all 26 league games and scored three goals again. His last season at Hansa Rostock graduated from the 1.80 m wide Fuchs 1990/91 with 24-point game inserts and twelve gates, with whom he was top scorer of Rostock and thus played a major role at the Rostock winning the league title. On June 2, 1991 Fox played his last competitive game for the time being Hansa Rostock. He stood with his team as a left striker in the last final of the East German soccer cup, the FC Hansa won 1-0 over the Eisenhüttenstädter FC steel. So Fox had denied within three seasons for the first team of FC Hansa 71 duty games in which he scored 22 goals, including 60 DDR Oberliga were games with 18 goals.

National league

In the seasons 1991/92 to the first round in 1993/94 Fuchs played for a transfer of 2.5 million DM for the Bundesliga 1 FC Cologne. In his first season he played in Cologne from a total of 38 point games 34 games in which he stood 24 times in the starting lineup. With his ten goals he was one of the most prolific players of Cologne. In the 34 games ending 1992/93 season fox came in 21 encounters used 13 times from the beginning, but only eight times for the full duration. With its six championship gates but he was the second best scorer in Cologne. After another seven short-term assignments from August to December 1993 without scoring Fuchs moved to league rivals FC Dynamo Dresden 1. There he played until the end of the season twelve point games in which he scored two goals. 1994/95 he was in 16 Bundesliga games in Dresden's starting lineup, was five times off the bench and scored four goals, with whom he was Dynamos third best shooter. After the first FC Dynamo firmly stood at the end of the season relegated, Fox left the club.

In the following three seasons, Fuchs was active in the 2nd Bundesliga. 1995/96 he played for FC Chemnitz, where he encounters 18 of 34 point games played and scored four goals. After that he joined for two years at the VfB Leipzig. In the 68 -point games the two seasons, Fuchs was 58 times and was used with 13 championship gates again to the most accurate players of his team. In the summer of 1998, Fox returned to the 1st Bundesliga for FC Hansa Rostock. While he played in the 1998/99 season only four times from the start and with 17 substitutions came to a total of 21 point stakes, he was in 1999/2000 not used at all, and had in 2000/ 01 only two brief appearances end of the season.

End of the club career

This league career was Fuchs ' ended. From summer 2001 to December 2003, he played for FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt in the third-tier Regionalliga and denied at this time 55 point games with ten Torerfolgen. After a pause, he went unsigned in the first half of 2005 for the TSG Neustrelitz in the fourth division Oberliga Nordost. In 2007 he took over as part of a coaching internship to acquire the A- license coach training the youth team of FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt. On 28 April 2009 he was promoted on an interim basis by assistant coach to head coach of FC Rot -Weiß Erfurt, with whom he won the Cup Thuringia. Then he returned to the co- coaching job. After the dismissal of Stefan Emmerling on 25 August 2012, he was appointed as interim head coach of FC Rot -Weiß Erfurt.

Auswahlspieler

1987 Fuchs was included in the squad of junior national team of East Germany. He started in the U- 17 team and has been with the U-18 team 1988 European Championship medalist. In the small final against Spain, he scored both goals in the 2-0 victory. A year later he was with the U-20 junior participants in the Junior World Cup in 1989 in Saudi Arabia and played in all three group stage matches until the GDR was eliminated from the tournament. Overall, Fox played 19 international matches for the GDR junior and scored six goals. He was appointed to the football Olympic team of the GDR in 1989, with whom he performed in several test games. Even before the start of the qualifiers for the Olympic Games 1992, the team was withdrawn in the wake of German reunification. 1991 belonged to the fox squad of DFB U-21 national team, with whom he played four matches and scored one goal.
