Henri Guissou

Henri Guissou ( born November 17, 1910 in Koudougou, Upper Senegal and Niger, Burkina Faso today, † May 22, 1979 ibid ) was a civil servant, diplomat and politician from Upper Volta, today's Burkina Faso.

From 1948 to 1959 Guissou was as MP for the colony of Upper Volta in the French National Assembly. He gained his seat on the list of Union pour la défense de la Haute- intérêts of Volta. Later was Guissou among others Ambassador Upper Volta in France (1961-1964) and Germany ( 1964-1966 ).
