Henri Hens

Henri Hens ( born December 6, 1889 in Antwerp, † February 20, 1963 ) was a Belgian racing cyclist.

Henri Hens was a professional diamond cutter. Only at the age of 18 he learned to ride a bike and won a few weeks later at the provincial championships in Antwerp. In 1910, Henri Hens Belgian champion of Amateuer stayer. In the same year he became world champion in the same discipline and was able to break the winning streak of the Englishman Leon Meredith. Then he stepped over to the professionals, but could no longer benefit from successes.
