Henri Jeanson

Henri Jeanson ( born March 6, 1900 in Paris, France; † 7 November 1970 at Équemauville, France) was a French screenwriter.

Life

Henri Jeanson strength were especially poignant dialogues, in particular in the French pre-war film. After working as a radio and film critic and journalist Jeanson was taken from the French Paramount Studio as a dialogue writer under contract. The participation in Pépé le Moko, directed by Julien Duvivier marked the beginning of a successful career as a screenwriter, often in collaboration with other authors, where Jeanson responsible for the dialogues recorded in the first place. During the period of occupation by the German Wehrmacht in World War II Jeanson dived at times, but it also further wrote screenplays.
