Henri Myntti

Henri Myntti ( born March 23, 1982 in Kokkola ) is a Finnish football players. His grandfather is the former Finnish international footballer Stig- Göran Myntti. His father Kenth Myntti played early in his career with the Vasa IFK and moved in 1973 to Kokkolan Palloveikot, where he was active up to and including 1987.

Myntti began his career in his hometown Kokkola Finland as a defensive player in the youth section of the club Kokkolan Palloveikot.

2001 Myntti was taken as a 18 -year-old from the Norwegian Tippeligaen participants Tromsø IL under contract, but was initially unable to prevail in this and was given back to his home country. So Myntti graduated in the 2002 Veikkausliiga ten games for FC Hämeenlinna, with whom he came in tenth place in the table, reaching relegation only in the relegation round, and in the 2003 24 appearances for FF Jaro, with whom he the eighth completion table occupied.

After his contract was terminated with Tromsø 2004 Myntti moved back to his former youth club Kokkolan Palloveikot for which he meanwhile in the second Finnish League, the Ykkönen played. In 2006 he reached but with KPV the entry into the Cup final, which was lost against HJK Helsinki 1-0.

For season 2007 moved to the reigning Finnish champions Myntti, Tampere United, with which he could win right away both the national championship and the national cup. However, at the beginning of the 2008 Tampere could not build on the achievements of previous years, which is why Myntti was used due to its body size as a striker. Although actually a skilled defender succeeded Myntti out to become top scorer in the First Division in the same season with 13 Torerfolgen next Aleksandr Kokko.

Early January 2009, media reported, although isolated from Mynttis exchange for Romanian first division side FC Vaslui, but he then received a first trial with German second division side FC Hansa Rostock, which he also changed the end of January 2009. After only eight missions during the second league season 2008/ 09 he, however, a renewed change of clubs has been suggested, whereupon Myntti his contract with FC Hansa end of November 2009 disbanded and returned to Tampere.

In 2011 Myntti moved to his training club Kokkolan PV, in which he henceforth acting as player-coach.
