Henrikas Radauskas

Henrikas Radauskas (* 1910 in Krakow, Poland, † 1970 in Washington, DC) was a Lithuanian poet and writer.

Life

After the independence of Lithuania Radauskas returned ' family back there. He studied Lithuanian, German and Russian literature at the Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas. From 1936 he worked as a publisher. From 1937 to 1941 he worked in Kaunas. In 1944 he emigrated to Berlin and then lived in Reutlingen. 1949 emigrated Radauskas in the USA. In his last years he worked for the Library of Congress.
