Henry Acquah
Henry Acquah ( born August 31, 1965) is a former Ghanaian football player. He was striker.
Career
Acquah 1989 moved from Hearts of Oak SC for German second division side Preußen Münster, where he became a crowd favorite. In this he played until the descent of the club in the then third-rate Oberliga Westfalen two years later and played 43 games.
It was followed by several years at unterklassigen clubs. So Acquah played in the 1992/93 season for the Oberliga SpVg Marl and with VfB knowledge he managed the 1994 promotion to the Regionalliga West / Southwest. In 1995 he moved to league rivals Alemannia Aachen. 1997, after a year at the Malaysian club Perlis FA, Acquah first completed his career. In 1999, he joined again in Germany for two years VfL Hamm / Sieg on.
Henry Acquah played 30 A - international matches for Ghana.
His son, Henry Acquah junior plays in the season 2011/ 12 also at his former club VfB knowledge. His other son Maximilian Acquah plays 2011/12 in the first team and U19 TuS Koblenz.
