Henry Condell

Henry Condell (* unknown; † December 1627 in London ) was a fellow actor William Shakespeare and was, along with John Heminges, whose collected works out as 1623 Folio.

It is believed that he was working as an actor since about 1590 or 1591, but its first recorded performance was in 1598 in Ben Jonson's Every Man in his Humour piece. Afterwards he appeared regularly on as part of the troupe Lord Chamberlain's Men, the renamed after 1603 in King's Men. He played in John Webster's play The Duchess of Malfi ( The Duchess of Malfi ) and also had leading roles in plays of his contemporaries Francis Beaumont and John Fletcher. In 1616 he retired from the stage.

His name will be called together for 30 years with the John Heminges. Both were actors, both were participants in the Globe Theatre and the Blackfriars Theatre and a personal friend of William Shakespeare; This left two in his will each 26 shillings and 8 pence to buy a " mourning ring ". Together they led the publication of Shakespeare's complete works in the famous First Folio of 1623rd
