Henry Eccles

Henry Eccles the Younger ( * 1675-1685 in London, † 1735-1745 probably in Paris ) was an English violinist and composer.

Henry Eccles, probably a brother of composer John Eccles was born in England. About his early life nothing is known, the first mention occurs in 1705, when he gave a benefit concert and by publishing his " Preludes and voluntaries ." He traveled in 1713, accompanied by the Duke d' Aumont to France, where he now lived. By no later than 1720, he lived in Paris, where he Vingt- quatre to the Violons du Roy at the French court of Louis XV. belonged.
