Henry Morton Robinson

Henry Morton Robinson ( born September 7, 1898 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, † January 13, 1961 in New York, NY) was an American writer.

Robinson was born the eldest of eleven children in a poor neighborhood. He served in World War II in the Navy, then graduated and had since 1924 a lecturer at Columbia University held. Later he was editor in chief of Reader's Digest. His most famous work, The Cardinal ( 1950), filmed in 1963. Contents of this book is the conflict between a minister of God and love of man.
