Henry of France, Archbishop of Reims
Heinrich - French Henri de France, duc de Reims - (* 1121-1123; † November 13, 1175 ) was a son of King Louis VI. " The Fat " of France from his marriage to Adelaide of Maurienne - Savoy, eldest daughter of Humbert, Count of Maurienne and Savoy.
Henry stepped into the spiritual stand He was first a canon in Paris, then archdeacon in Orléans. He owned several abbeys, he ceded his brother Philip to become a monk at Clairvaux Abbey in 1145. In 1149 he became bishop of Beauvais (up to 1162 ). He died in 1175 as Archbishop and Duke of Reims, a peer of France.
