Henry Ridgely Warfield

Henry Ridgely Warfield (* September 14, 1774 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, † March 18, 1839 in Frederick, Maryland ) was an American politician. Between 1819 and 1825 he represented the state of Maryland in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Henry Warfield attended preparatory schools, and then held various local offices. Politically, he joined the Democratic- Republican Party. In the congressional elections of 1818 he was in the third electoral district of Maryland in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Peter George on March 4, 1819. After two re- election he was able to complete in Congress until March 3, 1825 three legislative periods. These were determined from the discussions between supporters and opponents of the future President Andrew Jackson.

About Warfield's life after the end of his time in the U.S. House of Representatives nothing is handed down. He died on 18 March 1839 in Frederick.
