Henry Winkles

Henry Winkles (* 1801, † 1860) was an English artist, printer, and steel engraver, the near Karlsruhe, the first steel engraving studio in Germany founded by Carl Ludwig Frommel.

Produced together with Benjamin Winkles and illustrated Henry Winkles 1836 multi-volume work to cathedrals in England and Wales, which had influence on British Gothic Revival in the 19th century. 1852 Winkles visited his son in Ballarat, Australia before he returned again in 1854 to England.
