Henry XIV, Duke of Bavaria

Heinrich XIV ( as Duke of Lower Bavaria and Henry II; * September 29, 1305; † September 1, 1339 in Landshut ) was to succeed his father Stephen I 1310-1339 Duke of Lower Bavaria.

After the death of his father Henry was with his brother Otto IV, Duke of Lower Bavaria, initially under the tutelage of Ludwig of Bavaria, who had prevailed over the Habsburg Frederick the Handsome in the dispute over the guardianship of the young dukes.
