Hepu County

Hepu (合浦 县) is a county of the prefecture-level city in the southeast of Beihai, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the People's Republic of China. It has an area of 2380 km ² and has 930,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large village Lianzhou (廉 州镇).

The Dashi Avalokitesvara Temple ( ge Dashi大 士 阁) and the graves of Hepu from the period of the Han Dynasty ( Han Hepu Muqun合浦 汉墓 群) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 1988 and 1996 respectively.
