Heqaib III.

Heqaib ( III.) was an Egyptian official around 1850 BC and thus at the end of the 12th Dynasty ( Middle Kingdom ). He was mayor and chief priests on the island of Elephantine.

Heqaib was the son of Zattjeni. His father's name is unknown. He is only known from a statue which he had erected in the sanctuary of the Heqaib on Elephantine. 2013 his grave was found. It contained, among other things, a labeled coffin and a mummy mask.
