A hydrosol is a product that is not stable and germs very quickly. For this reason, most hydrosols are mixed with alcohol. But that they may not be used for aroma medical applications. A hydrosol with alcohol is stable until 16 months. A hydrosol without alcohol is only a few weeks.

Use

Depending on the plant extract Hydrosols are mainly used for natural skin care as a facial toner or aftershave. However, as a refreshing body spray, for the manufacture of perfumes and essences, to inhale, to the oral care, for compresses, hair care and as a room fragrance.
