Herbert Adamski

Herbert Adamski ( born April 30, 1910 in Berlin, † August 11, 1941 ) was a German rower from Berlin.

He came relatively late to the rowing and achieved in the Olympic year 1936 by winning the German championship in two with coxswain a first significant title. Together with Gerhard Gustmann and helmsman Dieter Arend he won the gold medal in pairs with coxswain at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin. In 1937 he won with Gustmann and the new helmsman Günter Holstein at the European Championships in 1938, the three rowers European Championship runner-up.

Adamski and Gustmann were from 1936 to 1939 four times in a row, German master, 1939, they were also victorious in the four with coxswain.
