Herbert Hainer

Herbert Hainer ( born July 3, 1954 in Dingolfing, Bavaria ) is a German manager.

Herbert Hainer is a graduate in business administration and since 2001 Chairman of the Board consisting of four members of adidas AG in Herzogenaurach, Germany, the second largest sportswear manufacturer in the world with its 110 subsidiaries. With more than 46,000 employees worldwide, the Group generated 2013 sales of about 14.6 billion euros. For Adidas, he started as a sales manager for bags, rackets and balls. Over several intermediate stations as sales manager for Germany it rose as CEO in 1997 to the board of the corporation. Since March 14, 2014 he is Chairman of FC Bayern München AG after his friend, Uli Hoeness, who resigned from his post.

Career

Before studying business administration at the University of Applied Sciences in Landshut Hainer worked in the family butcher shop with. After completing his studies he opened his own bar His dream was to become a professional footballer. As Hainer realized not to achieve its professional footballer target, he was in 1979, marketing manager for Germany at the Procter & Gamble. Family

Hainer is married and has one daughter. A second daughter died in 2007. His brother Walter was a professional football player at TSV 1860 Munich, where he three league games played as a sweeper.
