Herbert Iceland ( aleutian: Chiĝulax ) is an island of the Aleutian Islands and is one of the Islands of Four Mountains. She is five kilometers west of Iceland Chuginadak away.

The volcanic island of about ten kilometers in diameter reaching a height of 1280 meters. The highest point is the Herbert volcano with a two- kilometer-wide caldera.

The recent eruptions of the volcano are probably in the early Holocene.

Was named the island after the American politician Hilary A. Herbert ( 1834-1919 ).
