Herbert Jefferson, Jr.

Herb Jefferson, Jr. ( born September 18, 1946 in Sandersville, Georgia ) is an American actor.

Life

Jefferson completed in 1969 to study acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City from. He then began a career as a television actor, first as a guest star in TV series such as Mission: Impossible and take The Streets of San Francisco. In 1978, he won the role of Lt. Boomer in the series Battlestar Galactica. In the sequel, Battlestar Galactica 1980, he was promoted as Colonel deputy to Commander Adama. After the series setting he had in the course of the 1980s further series guest appearances, including in the pilot episode of Airwolf. From the late 1980s he was only irregularly seen as an actor, including in the movie Outbreak and the science fiction production Star Trek: Of Gods and Men

Jefferson occurs occasionally on Battlestar Galactica - conventions and support the Toys for Tots program of the United States Marine Corps.
