Herbert Knaup

Herbert Knaup ( born March 23, 1956 in Sonthofen, Oberallgäu ) is a German actor.

Family

Herbert Knaup grew in the Allgäu, the son of a musician who was also for a time as a sideman by Lale Andersen. His sister Renate (* 1948) is a singer of the band since 1968 Amon Düül, while his brother Charles ( born 1950 ) is also an actor.

He was in the 1970s in a relationship with the model and the subsequent photographer Ellen von Unwerth, who lived between 1993 and 2001 with actress Natalia Wörner together and is married to Christiane Lehrmann since 2006. Herbert Knaup has a son and lives in Berlin.

Career

After finishing school ( high school ), he completed his military service and then went to Munich, where he attended the prestigious Otto -Falkenberg - drama school. Music

Since 2007, the band nephews and Knaup, consisting of Herbert Knaup and his two nephews Maurus and Magnus Fleischmann exists. Coinciding with the release of the album, they began a tour of Germany.

The songs were recorded in Knaups private studio in Erlbach, community Weichs, in the district of Dachau. The CD was released by the record label Knaup Records, which Knaup himself had founded. According to the company, they sold 62 pieces of it. This is not a sustainable project because the two nephews live in the U.S..
