Herbert Schwamborn

Metaphysics ( born December 8, 1973 in Mbare suburb of Harare, Zimbabwe, as Herbert Qwela Schwamborn ) is a simbabwesischer rapper, composer and music producer with roots in Zimbabwe and Germany.

Career

Even at the high school hosted the son of a German and a Zimbabwean radio program Young Zimbabwe and founded in 1985 with a Tel Ryme the rap group Lethal Language. After the dissolution of Lethal Language, he founded under the pseudonym Qwela the Brain Child in 1991 with rapper Tony Chihota, producer Keith Farquharson and singer Chiwoniso Maraire the hip- hop group A Peace of Ebony. The band sang and rapped in English and Shona, one of the languages ​​of Zimbabwe and toured in South Africa and Madagascar. Published in 1996 Schwamborn with Tendai Vicki under the band name Kataklizim an album and moved to Johannesburg, where he promoted the rap music in South Africa with the television broadcast Shell Road to Fame talent show.

In 1998 he went for half a year in the U.S. and briefly worked as a cameraman for the MTV show TRL and lay down the pen to Metaphysics. Metaphysics has a younger brother, Rudolf " Rudy " Schwamborn, who also performs under the stage name Riz Allah and Carlprit. Together with his brother he runs the music label Gandanga Music. Metaphysics lives in Wuppertal, where it operates a music studio.

In May 2013 he formed together with Carlprit, Marlon B. and Tony T. music group DNGRS Crew (short for Dangerous Crew ). Their first single they recorded together with DJ Mase. She appeared on May 24, 2013 Kontor Records.
