Herbert Wursthorn

Herbert sausage Horn ( born June 22, 1957 in Würtingen ) is a former German track and field athlete.

He won in 1980 at the European Indoor Championships in Sindelfingen in the 800 -meter run with 1:50,4 min bronze. A year later he was in Grenoble in 1:47,70 min European Indoor champion. At the German Championships he usually stood in the shadow of Willi Wülbeck. Sausage horn 1985 Second outdoors and 1980 and 1986 runner-up in the hall. His personal best of 1:46,75 min put sausage horn in 1980 in Warsaw.

With the season of the VfB Stuttgart, he was from 1982 to 1985 four times German champion in the 4x800 meters and in the hall he won in the relay in 1981 and 1983 to 1985 also has four titles.

Herbert sausage horn now works as a psychologist at the Olympic Training Center Stuttgart.
