Herchweiler

Herchweiler is a municipality in the district of Kusel, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Kusel.

Geography

Herchweiler is at the upper Easter valley in the western Palatinate directly on the border of Saarland. The resort's street in the Gass was long on the boundary of the park in west Haupersweiler until 2003, a treaty between Rhineland -Palatinate and Saarland, the border adapting. This part of the Saarland Freisen was umgemeindet with 53 inhabitants according Herchweiler on 1 January 2004.
