Geography

Geographical location

History

Herdwangen- Schoenach is a municipality consisting of the two former municipalities of Baden stove cheeks and Großschönach in the district Pfullendorf, and the Hohenzollern community Oberndorf. In the Third Reich the Baden district offices Pfullendorf and Überlingen were merged to newly formed district of Überlingen. With the district reform in Baden- Württemberg in 1973 both villages came to the district of Sigmaringen.
