Heribert Offermanns

Heribert Offermanns ( born October 24, 1937 in Merkstein near Aachen ) has become known as a chemist and manager at Degussa AG in the second half of the 20th century.

Life and work

At the Rheinisch- Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen (RWTH Aachen ), he studied chemistry. His master 's and doctoral work he produced in the group of Friedrich Asinger on the border between the organic and technical chemistry. Then Offermanns was in industrial chemical and pharmaceutical research at Degussa AG and Degussa Antwerpen NV and Degussa Inc. New York.
