Hermann Dyck

Hermann Dyck ( born April 10, 1812 in Würzburg, † March 25, 1874 in Munich) was a German painter, draftsman and etcher.

Hermann Dyck was dedicated to the Munich architectural painting, which he knew to give through cultural and historical Masked special charm. His connection with the appearing since 1844 Fliegende Blatter brought a remarkable satirical talent in him to maturity. In 1854 he became head of the art school for artisans, in which occupation he remained, as the institution was in 1868 raised to the state institution.

Hermann Dyck died in March 1874.
