Hermann Hendrich

Hermann Hendrich ( born October 31, 1854 in herring; † July 18, 1931 in Schreiberhau ) was a German painter. In 1907 he founded the nationalist Werdandi Association.

He was a pupil of Joseph Wenglein in Munich and Eugen Bracht in Berlin. Hendrich lived and worked in Berlin and Schreiberhau. Stimulated by the works of the composer Richard Wagner created Hendrich especially pictures of German legends. In 1906 he published the autobiography My life and work.
